Today, the 6TH SEPTEMBER marks the one month anniversary of SMITTEN BY FAITH ! 

It’s the newsletter’s  ‘Mooniversary’. In the Chinese language, the radical script for ‘Moon’ is the same script used for ‘month’. So this one month anniversary is a ‘Mooniversary’!  A very clever writer called Hugh Lofting of ‘Doctor Dolittle’ invented this word writing about anthropomorphic mice, where he said that a year was too long a time for the life span of a mouse, so he suggested they celebrate a mouse’s each month as its ‘Mooniversary’. Very clever indeed.

I launched SMITTEN BY FAITH on 6th August 2021, the Feast of the Transfiguration when the Apostles Peter, James and John were totally smitten and in awe when they experienced the glory of God. You can read more in the Inaugural Article # 0001 : LIGHT THE LAMP AND PUT IT ON THE STAND.

It is now just a month since we launched and the Newsletter’s HUGE readership has exceeded all my expectations. I am humbled; thankful and continue to be centred in my joyful task ahead. I intend to continue writing each week for as long as my readers enjoy reading what my Special Guests and I write. I am extremely gratified to all of you, dear readers for joining my guests ( who come from a diversity of backgrounds and talents) and me in our personal journeys of faith sharing with you not just experiences, stories, fun, laughter, joyfulness but yes, even tears.
